Titus 1:6-9 (KJV)
6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
Covenant Word Church Elder - John Kerr
Elder John Kerr is a man of faith, strength and example to others.
A pillar is a support structure of a building and Elder John has been a support of this ministry since the beginnging.
He is faithful to the Lord in all ways without a mean word in him. He is always willing to do anything asked and much of what he does is done without being asked as he is always looking for the next thing he can do for the Lord. There is no greater example for the younger people in the church with his mild manner and "won't quit" attitude.
Elder John and his wife Dolores are living proof that God's life for us is good.
